Location Data

Our app collects and uses your device's precise location (GPS) to provide the following core features:

  • Truck Navigation – To provide real-time turn-by-turn navigation optimized for trucks, including height, weight, and length restrictions on routes.
  • Nearby Services – To show truck-friendly stops, fuel stations, rest areas, weigh stations, and parking near your current location.

What we collect

Precise geographic location (latitude & longitude) via GPS

How we use it

Your location data is used solely to power navigation and route planning features. It is not used for advertising profiling or sold to third parties.

When we collect it

Location is accessed while you are actively using the app and in the background to continue navigation guidance even when the screen is off or the app is minimized.

Sharing

We may share location data with third-party mapping and routing service providers strictly to calculate truck-safe routes. These partners are contractually bound to protect your data.

Your controls

You can revoke location permission at any time via Settings → Apps → Route Commander → Permissions → Location on your Android device. Disabling location access will disable navigation features.
